We were delighted to hear the news on Wednesday the 6th of July that Skoogmusic was one of the companies selected to receive funding from the UK Games Fund. You can read the full press release here. Minister for Culture and the Digital Economy Ed Vaizey announced the winners to the press saying that the fund is focussed on helping developers take their ideas into production.
With Skoog 2.0 available worldwide on the Apple store this support from the UK Games Fund means we can crack on with creating more ways to play and get creative with Skoog. First up is School of Skoog. David Skulina, CTO at Skoog HQ, had this to say:
“This grant from the UK Games Fund gives us the opportunity to carve out a new creative space in the gaming landscape and we can’t wait to get started By bringing new talent into the company we can now take our first steps towards the realisation of “School of Skoog” – an exciting accessible learning game for iOS that explores music through adventure and puzzle game formats.”
To help us bring School of Skoog to life we are looking for a talented iOS games developer to join the team. Full job description here.
