And thanks to the kind visitor to our stand yesterday who described The Skoog as “The pearl of the show”.

Great day at the Scottish Learning Festival  today – really positive experience – a big thanks to everyone who came along to see us.  Here’s a photo of Ben at our stall M50 – Ben will be back at the SECC tomorrow so do go along to keep him company and to see what The Skoog can do.

Well the diary is filling up now.  Its going to be a busy few days in London.  The skoog is going to get down for the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra) and Drakemusic – which is really exciting, such a fantastic organisation. Looking forward to catching up with Jackie Robarts at Nordoff Robbins, Jackie was a real inspiration to me when I started doing my PhD, which all seems too long ago now.  But there are still a few spaces to fill.

Well best start preparing for the trip, packing light is not my specialty.

The performance will be part of the Tapestry conference held on November 11th and 12th. The performance will feature the Tapestry Radio Jazz Orchestra, and 1000 children from schools across Scotland. The show will also showcase other elements of the NESTA project related to the Action Research lead by the Music in the Community program and The University of Edinburgh.

With invaluable support from the Edinburgh University Music in the Community students we are are really looking forward to this, and we hope you can come and share what promises to be a really inspiring day.

I plan to be in London from Monday the 14th till Wednesday the 16th – so get in touch through the website or ben@skoogmusic.com if you would like to see a demo, and get your hands  on a Skoog.  Although Wednesday is looking pretty full up now but I still have some time on Monday and Tuesday.

I will be uploading some more ‘informative’ demos very soon – with a bit of chat and a look at the software, but as always there is much to do!

At the SECC Glasgow.  On the 23rd and 24th of September.  Going to be exciting to show the Skoog off to a wider audience particularly nursery and primary teachers.  It looks like a pretty interesting program and I am keen  to see what the ‘dragons den’ style young entrepreneur event is going bring to light from the schools – there is a rockband/guitar hero event too (so we wont be the only ones making some noise!)

So do come and get your hands on a Skoog if your in the area, should be a fun couple of days.
