The Skoog App

This is the control room for your Skoog. It’s all you need to connect, customise and play, has full MIDI support and is compatible with iOS 9 multitasking. The App supports our unique musicplay functionality. Integrating with your iTunes media library or music streaming service the App can automatically tune your Skoog so you can play along with the music you love. Available from the App store. Have fun exploring swift and learning to code with your Skoog! Build your own musical instrument, control visual feedback and play with different types of data using your Skoog device. Designed to work with Swift Playgrounds by Apple Inc – master the basics then start building your own playgrounds using Skoog.

Skoogmusic for Mac & PC

In addition to using Skoog 2.0 with iPad & iPhone, it also can be used with your PC or Mac via USB connection – download the Skoogmusic software here. Skoogmusic is our music-making platform for use with Skoog interfaces. Select from a range of instruments from clarinet to congas, voice to violin… even a space bass. Give a new twist to a hit song with Skoog Skores, or record and layer your own tracks. Skoogmusic is compatible with GarageBand and Logic so you can access an even bigger universe of instruments, sound effects and tools. It also supports MIDI on Windows via 3rd party routing software.

Mogo (Mac and iOS)

A dedicated virtual analogue synth app designed to work exclusively with the Skoog. Awesome retro-futuristic sounds that you shape and bend – literally.

ii-Music (PC)

ii-Music software is a musical instrument designed to be played with your eyes using eye gaze technology. ii-Music includes a range of high quality musical instruments to play with, sound effects and the ability to record your performances. It also gives you free rein to express yourself musically, in real time. You can download a free function limited demo version of the software for windows below.

Skoog 2 Ableton Max4Live

Coming Soon! This is a Max4Live device, and includes access to linear displacement, azimuth angle and polar angle data streams. There is also a Midi note on/off feature, and you can also configure polling, sensitivity and calibration.

Skoog API

Coming Soon! This is a multi-platform API for the tactile Skoog 2.0 music interface, and includes API formats objective C, C++ and Java, and access to raw data streams.
